Green Tip -
Energy Star qualified Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL) emit the same light as classic incandescent, but use 65%-75% less electricity and last up to 10 times longer (average lifespan of a CFL is five years), saving $30 or more in energy costs over each bulb's lifetime.   According to the EPA, if all American homes replaced just one incandescent light bulb with an Energy Star approved compact fluorescent light bulb, we would save enough energy to light more than 3 million homes for a year, save over $600,000 in energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of nearly 800,000 cars.

**Please leave your worship folder on the table in the narthex so it may be recycled during Lent

SHARE is in need of shampoo, conditioner and women’s personal products. If you can contribute it would be greatly appreciated!

A ELW worship tip:
when it comes time for the Creed, don't flip through pages trying to find the words. Open to the back inside cover to find them instead.

Reminder
that we are collecting used printer cartridges for Hospitality Network.  Collection container in narthex.   We receive between $.50 and $10.00 per cartridge.   Easy fundraiser, Thanks!

Pastor’s blog
(kind of an online journal), called the Pastor’s Pantry, has been launched. On it you’ll find some reflections on the lessons for the week past and to come, some thoughts of our life together as Messiah, some questions for online discussion, and a whole lot of this and that. Pastor invites you to stop often at the Pantry and see what’s on the menu! Find it at www.pastorspantry.blogspot.com
