Katie may have succumbed in her battle , but the war against leukemia goes on. Many of us turned out to give blood as Katie awaited bone marrow transplant in 2005. Thanks to all who joined us on January 27th, 2007 to give blood and/or volunteer at our first (annual?) Memorial Blood Drive for Katie.   Seventy-four pints were collected and we hope to do it again!

Below are the flowers Katie's grandmother sent to be in church the Sunday after Katie's death. However, because of a snowstorm that day, church was cancelled. But the beauty of the flowers lives on in the picture below, as does Katie in our memories.
